West Tofts is a superb 4 star rated, detached stone built cottage, situated in a meadow on the edge of Mickleton, with magnificent views over the valley of the River Tees and surrounding countryside.
Created by the thoughtful conversion of an old barn, the cottage is spacious, light and airy and contains many original exposed beams. The sitting room has a feature 'picture window' with window seat.
West Tofts is located in the small hamlet of Mickleton in the heart of beautiful Teesdale, one mile from Middleton in Teesdale and nine miles from the market town of Barnard Castle. See GoogleMap.
The accommodation (See images) comprises;
- Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x Queen size double with ensuite shower room, 1 x twin. An extra bed available on request.
- Four piece bathroom with shower over bath. Downstairs WC.
- Superb, well equipped kitchen with separate dining area. Utility room.
- Spacious sitting room with log effect gas stove.
There is full central heating and additional heating from log effect gas stove in sitting room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, automatic washing machine and dryer and dishwasher.
The lounge has colour TV, DVD, CD player and radio.
All fuel and power, bed linen and towelsare included in rent.
There is ample off road parking, a pretty garden with garden furniture
A cot and highchair are available. We prefer non smokers and sorry, no pets.
